What's with Koreans and eggs?? There's this series called iloveeggs. They're so creepy, yet cute at the same time. You can watch them here. While I do love eggs, I especially love egg yolks, making this cartoon that much more disturbing - the cartoon eggs' heads are the egg yolks, so I'm basically eating their faces.
Another egg-like toy is Unazukin, a "fairy" that will react to your voice, either nodding or shaking her head. It's like the magic eight ball - you never know what exactly makes it react a certain way, but that doesn't stop you from wondering. Just don't ask, "Are you evil?" because that'll just freak you out even more.
While I was browsing these random toys, I came across the Dunny Series. There's 5 series out, I think, and each series contains a box full of these randomly designed bunnies...or I think they are bunnies... Either way, there's this lucky cat version that I desperately want. I could only find it on eBay for $25, and a 3-inch figurine is definitely not worth $25 + shipping.
But what IS worth $25 might be these tofu block heads called Smerys. The only reason I "get it" is because I traveled in Taiwan my senior year of college, and I discovered Stinky Tofu - a powerful stench that is like no other. It's supposed to "Smell like hell, taste like heaven," but I never could get past the smell to actually take a bite. These block heads obviously know they smell rank, which is the funny part.
Other pet lovers would like tokidoki, a vinyl toy maker that has a Cactus Friends line, where animals are dressed in cactus armor to protect them from everyday hazards, claiming the world is a rough place.
And the world really is. I have to give up my own kitty because I'm moving into a place where she can't go. I wish there was like a kitty haven for loved cats to travel and live out their lives...I mean, if Frodo can go live with the elves in The Lord of the Rings, then why can't my cat?
Before I get angry readers commenting why I got a cat if I couldn't take care of her -- PETA lovers rest assure, I'm not dumping her off in a field in hopes she'll survive. My parents have agreed to take her in, which is great since she's already familiar with their house.
