BethZilla is your go-to woman for music and entertainment in the Tri-Cities. A writer, photographer, videographer and blogger extraordinaire, she speaks her mind on anything and everything.

Nothing is sexier than motocross riders. I don't care what you say.
"But, BethZilla, Olympic swimmers are much more fit." Yeah, but they don't defy gravity or risk their lives doing something that makes fans scream with delight.
I went to my first MX show last night at the Benton Franklin Fair & Rodeo. I was a little hesitant: Are these guys going to totally ignore me?
After asking a zillion security guards where I could talk to a rider, I finally got into the arena. I walked right up to the Boost Mobile bus and began chatting with James Carter, a fresh young MX rider who wore some awesome retro shades.
He introduced me to fellow rider JJ Romans, who was willing to put my Sandisk in his helmet cam. Righteous.
I asked him what bike was his so I could take lots of pictures of him riding.
"That one," he said, pointing to the bike next to me.
"The blue one?" I asked.
"No. The pink one," he said.
"For real?"
"[laughs]Yeah!"
The bike had a bold pink frame, while the body was white and decked out with Louis Vuitton-like insignia (instead of LV, it had JJ). I cracked up, especially when he walked out in his jumpsuit, which was white with...you guessed it; the pseudo Louis Vuitton symbols. That's something you don't see everyday.
I must admit, it was a sexy-looking bike that I wouldn't mind riding. Damn...that's what I should have done - asked for a ride!
The MX show lasted a little over two hours, but time flew by. The adrenaline-packed music and lively MCs made the event pretty enjoyable, even if you're not really into all that stuff.
You can check out the footage from JJ's helmet cam here and only here...at AtomicTown.com. Plus, you can browse the MX gallery...we need the page views.
